In addition to the Basic Collection that we include with the Memotron, additional Sound Collections are available to expand your library beyond the classic Strawberry Fields' Flute and Genesis' Eight Choir.
Besides the classical Tron noises like the Strawberry Fields Forever flute from the Beatles, or the distinctive Genesis’ 8 choir, additional unusual and custom sounds can also be found in the other Sound Collections.
In order to achieve the highest possible authenticity, the sounds of all Sound Collections show all the genuine artefacts of the original tapes, like wow and flutter or slightly unstable pitch and levels.
The Tron Tapes have been meticulously compiled from Martin Smith's prestigious UK tape library. These recordings are used in all instruments restored, serviced or manufactured by Streetly Electronics and can be found in instruments belonging to Paul McCartney, Dhani Harrison, Noel Gallagher, Jean Michel Jarre, Billy Corgan and many others around the world.
In The Tron Tapes Vol2 you will find interesting sounds such as the Bradley Orchestra 1 and 2 or the string section often used by Tangerine Dream.
With Harry's Collection 2, we are now continuing the series of the wonderful sounds by Harry Chamberlin.
